We file replacement requests for IRP decals against the correct power unit.
Decals are issued to a specific vehicle rather than to your account, which means the replacement has to name the right unit. It also means you cannot move them between trucks — a set applied to the wrong vehicle is not simply peeled off and relocated.
Most jurisdictions require one decal on each side of the power unit's exterior, on or near the cab doors, clean and readable. Placement is enforced: a decal in the wrong position is treated the same as a missing one. Because states issue them as a matched pair, if one is gone you replace both.
We prepare the affidavit and any photographs your jurisdiction requires, make sure the replacement is issued against the correct unit, and follow the request through to shipping. The declared weight bracket for each unit. Above 80,000 lb is quoted by phone rather than online.
